BPN Statement - Black Lives Matter and Matters Arising
As founders of BPN, we recognise the pain and distress that recent events of racial injustice in the United States and UK has caused to all. A stark reminder of the inequality and racism that exists in our society.
We want to first and foremost let you know that we are just a message away if you want to talk things through.
Secondly to reassure all members that we plan to continue our work with you, civic institutions, and corporate partners to ensure a more inclusive workplace where minority talent flourishes without fear.
In the meantime, we are encouraging all members to use this period to engage in meaningful conversations and actions to help address the issue of racism.
We stand in solidarity with all men and women demanding justice and accountability for George Floyd across the globe.
We urge the UK government and business leaders to use this moment as a catalyst to speed up plans aimed at ending racial inequalities in British society.
